CRUSHING

I am completely crushing over metal belts! How amazing are these? I love how it can spruce up an all black or white dress or pantsuit for a night out as well as add some glitz to a pair of shorts and a blazer for Sunday brunch. I am adding the ASOS belts to my wishlist! What are your thoughts on the new trend? Love it?

Happy Monday!!! I cannot believe the weekend is over already but to brighten up the Monday blues I have a cute and simple DIY for y'all! The best thing is this DIY art cost me $0 as I had everything on hand (besides the paint samples but those are free)

List of supplies:

Paint samples or colorful card stock

Heart paper punch or Cricut

Tape

White card stock

I went to Sherwin Williams and grabbed a stack of pink paint samples as I wanted to go for an ombre look. I stuck the paint samples into my Cricuit and started cutting out my hearts (my hearts are 3/4 of a inch).

Once they were all cut out I lined them up on a white card stock (8.5 x 11) from light to dark with 2 rows of the same color. I then put a dab of permanent bond glue runner on the back of each heart, put it in a white frame and you just made yourself some art!

My dad moved into a new place a few months back and we are slowly updating his furnishings. First up is the rug! He has all wood floors and so a rug is necessary to keep the sofa from sliding backwards, avoid scratching the floors and just to soften the room up a bit. Unfortunately after a few days of looking, I still couldn't talk him into a fun and graphic print rug and he decided on a white shag. During the hunt I did stumble across Rugs USA and they are having 50% off almost every rug! Since I am OBSESSED with chevron, I thought I would show you all the chevron selection they have. Y'all go check them out,you may get one of these rugs for a steal!

Ashlee Simpson anyone??  In college my roommate and I had a slight obsession with the Simpson clan on MTV. Had to paint our nails black like Ashlee and say y'all and wear our daisy dukes like Jessica...

Pink Visitor Chair:: I love this pink chair! It would be a perfect desk chair to add a bit of color in the office!

Pink Moroccan Pouf:: I've seen these poufs everywhere and the soft pink would look great in a little girls room!

Candy Pink Notebook:: This notebook is so chic! I want to carry this around and jot down all my blog ideas! :)

Pink Louis Ghost Chair::This is designed by Philippe Starck and I have been obsessed over his work since college! Anytime I had to do a paper on an artist I would always choose him :) I think he is just a genious! I love the feminine soft pink color and the glam design! Totally crushing over here!

Bubblegum POP Candle:: Yummy!!! :)

Pink Lamp:: I have seen a few DIY pink lamps lately and I love the idea! But if your like me and getting around to DIY's is next to never...this is the lamp for you!

Hot Pink Key Duvet Cover:: As you can see from my header, I love me some greek key print! This bedding comes in various colors but I am just drawn to the hot pink! If I could do college over, I would pink this bedding and accent with those furry pillows shown in back!

Blush Throw:: Something about this blush throw makes me want to curl up with some hot chocolate and a good book!
